Robert G. Young

With over 33 years with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), Robert G. Young is a former Executive Manager with extensive experience in advancing national security and intelligence programs, delivering projects, building strong and diverse teams, fostering collaboration and leading change.
Robert has spoken at numerous security and intelligence conferences throughout Canada and around the world. During the course of his career, he have developed numerous international contacts with security and intelligence agencies, law enforcement, academia and the private sector. He has career-long experience in conducting and managing complex national security investigations.  
Most recently, Robert G. Young was the Regional Director General for CSIS for BC and the Yukon until May 2018. From 2015 to May 2018, he was an Associate Member of the BC Association of Chiefs of Police.
Robert G. Young is the current CEO of Excelsior Applied Strategies Inc. (EASI), a security and management consulting service.
